Autodesk® 2010 Product Line Available
Autodesk® began shipping its new 2010 line of 2D and 3D design and engineering software on March 24, 2009. More than 50 new products offer new features and functionality as well as improved tools for Digital Prototyping, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Infrastructure Modeling, sustainable design and analysis, which will help architects, engineers and designers meet increasing commercial and public sector demand for more energy-efficient buildings, products and infrastructure.

Autodesk's 2010 portfolio boasts expanded tools for energy analysis including the new Autodesk Ecotect Analysis 2010 green building software, a comprehensive sustainable analysis tool that delivers a wide range of simulation and analysis functionality including energy, water, and carbon analysis capabilities with desktop tools to conduct detailed environmental simulations and visualize results. Users of the 2010 Revit® software platform for BIM can now make more informed decisions to optimize sustainable building performance. Revit® MEP 2010 software now makes it easier for mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers to determine energy demands of a building with native heating and cooling loads analysis, and export enhanced gbXML that provides the ability to examine analytical models of a project before export.

GENIO® Import/Export Extension for AutoCAD® Civil and AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2009 :
This extension streamlines the migration of data from Bentley® MXROAD® software to AutoCAD Civil or AutoCAD Civil 3D software. It also enables customers to use AutoCAD Civil or Civil 3D on projects that require Bentley MXROAD format deliverables and/or the use GENIO format input data.

Capabilities include:

• Import Bentley MXROAD alignments, profiles, surfaces, points, and feature strings into AutoCAD Civil and Civil 3D software
• Export AutoCAD Civil and Civil 3D model elements including points, alignments, profiles, corridor feature lines, and grading feature lines into the Bentley MXROAD format

This extension can be installed on either AutoCAD Civil 2009 or AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 software. Content is currently available in English only.

• PDF Underlays - Now you can import Adobe PDF files, attaching them as PDF underlays. Once you attach a PDF underlay, use a variety of tools to snap to lines and objects; control the display of layers; and move,
  scale, rotate, and clip the PDF underlay.

In this bonus pack, new and updated functionality (commands, system variables, options, and warning messages) is available English only. If you install this bonus pack on a non-English product, all new and updated functionality displays in English.

This extension requires that Update 2.1 be applied to your installation of AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2009 (or AutoCAD® Civil 2009) software. This update can be downloaded from the Updates and Service Packs website. Please refer to the ReadMe for additional installation instructions.
